Suddenly I felt like this blog is getting to serious lah. Let's spice is up ok!
Soooooo this time I would talk about..............*drumrolls....how to get a better healthy skin! Yeayy :)

Step number one. No doubt about this, first step would be to make sure you came from a good genes! Haha okay you can't change that right. But seriously, that actually what it matters the most. So if you have like a very bad dry flaky skin, please go home and blame your parents. Ok no, don't do that. I'm actually glad my mom has such a great skin, no she has the perfect skin. She literally had problem with pimple only once a year, with just one small pimple ! and being paranoid as she is, she would make a fuss about it and we all end up not going out the whole day.

Step number two. Second I would say, wash your face at least twice a day. By washing, I mean using facial wash. Remember to remove your make up and wash before you sleep. So you wouldn't end up waking up like a zombie the next day. *because of the eyeliner. So, the one that I would recommended would be.....

Clinique Liquid Facial Wash!

This is the one I am currently using, I've been using this since I was 16. My mom bought this one for me at first since she has the greatest skin of all kan, so I'll stick with this forever. They have like one of the best review of being the best facial wash among others. It makes your skin feel great and healthy. Although it's a bit pricey, but I guess this is probably one of my best investment. This one bottle can last me for a year or so.

Step number 3. Moisturiser. Maybe some of you wouldn't mind to pay an extra money for a moisturiser wouldn't you ? I think this is quite important since using only facial wash feels like lacking a bit. It helps your skin with long-lasting comfort and it makes your skin as flawless as tomato skin!

Deep moisture comfort balm by neutregena.
I would suggest this neutrogena product (also currently using) I got from Boots for quite an affordable price. It's not for your face specifically, it can be used for your whole body. Since UK weathers are unpredictable, which would affect my skin, this product is definitely a worth buy! I didn't use this back in Malaysia but why not give it a try !

Step number 4. Get enough sleep! 7 to 8 hours maybe? Enough sleep also actually affects your growth. So if you want to grow taller, sleep!! Well in my case, I had more than enough sleep which is not a good thing to do but oh well.

Step number 5. Drink plenty amount of water! I would say this one is also vitally important as others. The more the better I guess? I mean, I haven't seen or heard anyone died because of excessive amount of water consumption. So drink! I couldn't help but notice some of us hate to drink mineral water. That is bad for your skin! Oh on the side notes, my mom never drink soda ever in her life! Never! Coke ? Pepsi ? Fanta? Say it, she never taste all those stuff. So food for thoughts, don't drink that too much :)

Change is good

I was looking at the mirror, thinking what I would be like if I didn't wear hijab. There must be more stuff I would tend to buy, like skirts, shorts, short sleeves, dresses, and you know, more variety of style I can pull off. The only different is, I choose to wear hijab.

It all happens when I was ten. Most of my friends wear one or at least wear it in school compound. I know it's kind of rare considering that I lived in the city (oh don't be judgemental). Even ustazah always said about how sinful it is not wearing one. Well, being as obedient as I am towards my ustazah (you know those days when you listened more to your teachers than your own mother lols), I thought of wearing one. No one actually force me. Not my parents, not my teachers, absolutely no one. I mean I was ten, I barely even hit puberty yet!

Well, little that I know, I have put myself ahead of most kids, having responsibilities like a woman now. Although I can choose to wear on and off (like some people did nowadays) since I was still young, but I didn't. Once when I was 12, I wanted to follow my mom to pick up my sister or brother (was he even born yet?), ma was in rush and I wasn't done yet, so I decided to just go without scarf on my head since my mom said I will be inside the car the whole time. You know how awkward I feel at that time to have wind blow through your hair and stuff like that? I don't feel comfortable at all hence that was my last time.

But still, that was back then, when I was still naive, when dresses were like mehhh to me. As I grew up, I slowly understand the meaning behind wearing hijab. You know how people said, one small steps led to another. Have you heard the story about this guy who was given a choice whether to drink alcohol, sleep with a woman, or kill a human. So he chose to drink, thought that it was not as sinful as others. But noo, one small steps led to another remember? He ended up getting really drunk, slept with a woman and killed her. What I'm saying is, wearing hijab is like your small step to devote yourself more towards your religion. Hijab is like a shield, it restrains you from doing other sinful stuff. When you wear hijab, you wouldn't want to wear skirts right ? I mean hello, even fashion sense wouldn't allow you to do that. Common sense, you wouldn't go clubbing with hijab, you wouldn't fool around like drunkard, you wouldn't do those stuff. Those thing wrapped on your head is like a reminder to you. What is right to do and what is wrong.

So do I regret wearing hijab at such early age ? I said NO. Let's look at the positive side. With this facebook and all, I wouldn't have to worry about my past photos being seen in public. I had those things wrapped around my head. I wouldn't have to burden myself to go here and there, asking to delete past photos of not wearing hijab and all. I made the right decision, that's what I thought :)

Although I still have flaws, I still wear tight jeans, I admit I haven't properly cover my aurah, (let's hope I do okay), the point is, this one simple step will insyaAllah change your life to the better. After all change is good right?

Alright second post of the day. Here we go. Just got to tell you I got my blouse I bought online the other day. I'm soo excited, spent the whole night spazzing over it. Wasn't my first time purchasing something online but still pretty excited about it. I bought maxi dresses from poplook with my mom , so that doesn't count. Then I bought this SHINee Sherlock album from kpoptown because....I'm their BIG FAN. I mean how can you not love them! So, my latest purchase was this cute nice top or blouse. I ordered this like few days ago and was expecting for it today and there it was, all packed in my little tiny mailbox. LOL good thing I don't have to pick it up at the reception. So tadaaaa....

It's brighter than this. Pictures can be deceiving urgh. Blame the poor lighting.
Picture I got from the website asos.com .Pretty much how it looks like. Not gonna wear it with bra though hahahaha but looks good on her.
And they have this amazing free return policy! They provide it with stickers, just pull the wrapper inside out then drop it at any post box!
ALSO, I found out about this online shop in Malaysia, fashionvalet.com and they have like the best shoes ever! Black Mary Jane pumps from Kiss & Tell is officially on my must-have list.
So prettty!!! BUT I always have this problem with high heels. I mean I'm not tall to begin with, compare to my flatmates who's like what ? 170? MYGOD they're really tall. But I have always been surrounded by mini-size adorable friends or bahasa kasarnya = pendek :P So whenever I choose to wear one, I would end up looking like a giant! I mean just look at them, so tiny and cute.
Aiman and Dhiya. See I'm not even wearing high heels :P
Have to bend a little. Every single time haha.

So you guys do the math lah kan. Wearing high heels is like an inside joke to them. To come to conclusion I would have to find a tall or at least decent height boyfriend so that I can wear one ! Yeah that's my goal :D

On the other hand, I had pasta for dinner with Aliyah while watching one of the latest gossip girl. AND BLOODY HELL! IT TURNS OUT DIANA PAYNE IS CHUCK'S MOTHER!
Yeah that's how we looked like.

Hello. Hi. I just woke up from my nap. I slept for just three hours yesterday for goodness sake. I had early morning law revision class and bla bla bla. Everything pretty much the same like any other days.

Oh yeah, also to sum up our Spring break, we had a picnic again at the same spot we did last time, just that we have less people this time. Some of them are still on vacation, some still back in Malaysia and some of us just don't want to get involve =.= It was our first event held by the new appointed committees and alhamdulillah everything went well. The weather is good, the food are nice and etc.

So here's some snippets from the event, taken from Zara's facebook. Credit to her hihi :)

Spot the one with exaggerate expression, erm well that's Aliyah. She's.....always like that. Haha.

Tuna sandwiches - the must have during picnic

So colorful right ?

My face. Priceless.

People who came. Thanks guys :D

There you go...my housemates for next term. I will update about our new house soon when we moved in. Can't wait!

Trip to Brighton.

We went to Brighton during spring break. It was just a short visit for two days. Took a train from Canterbury and change train in Ashford, probably took us three hours to get there. Weatherwise, we thought it would be sunny and it is sunny! But the wind, ohmygoddddddd I could literally fly, seriously. Maybe because of the beach. Idk. So here's some pictures I took from Zara's fb and Ili's and probably Aliyah's too. Sorry my camera choose not to work at this time of the year. Sigh.

*The pictures are not arranged on chronological order, I'm just too lazy.
After we checked in into our B&B, we went straight to the beach  to look for food. Long journey = Hungry.
Nice place, really.
Fish and chips to the British is like nasi to the malays. I had enough of them!

Sunbathing. We don't do that in Malaysia.

Had dinner at Warung Tujuh, an Indonesian restaurant.

Brighton Pavilion

The infamous Brighton Pier. Must go there!

Our educational part of the trip, we went to the Pavilion museum.  They don't allow us to take any photos inside the building so no pictures :( It was soo grand, the decoration is sooo rich. Can't believe they actually do that during that century (which is long ago, couldn't remember when)

Three of us went for a roller coaster ride at Brighton Pier called Crazy Mouse.  I could have died from screaming continuously throughout the ride but it was fun :)

Basically, that's what I did during spring break. Also, my father and my grandparents came to London few days after that. It was cold and rainy, pity them. Oh and remember the thing I want to get for my sister ? Turns out it sold out alreadyyy! So frustrating!!
